Experian Japan Appoints
New Managing Director
Tokyo, September 5, 2019 – Experian Japan Co. Ltd., the world leader in information services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Colm John Kennelly as Managing Director, based in the Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo office. His appointment takes effect from September 1, 2019. In his new role, Kennelly will be responsible for driving further business growth of the overall Japan operations of Experian, encompassing its Decisioning Solutions, Overseas Research Information, and Consumer Segmentation Data Business.
As a senior business leader, Kennelly brings more than 20 years of executive management experience and knowledge from various industries including investment banking and insurance, IT and travel across the Asia-Pacific and EMEA region. Most recently, Kennelly was the Chief Information Officer at BNP Paribas Cardif, where he played a key role in driving the technological transformation of the insurance business. Prior to that, he served as the President and Representative Director at AXA Technology Service Japan. Kennelly’s other leadership experiences include positions at Pinnacle Japan, Amazon Web Services, MetLife life insurance and Barclays Bank.

Living in Japan for the last 20 years, Kennelly is a native Japanese speaker. He is also proficient in three additional languages – French, German and Thai.
